The audience picks the genre

Each film started from one question: who is watching? A citizen needs the steps. A government buyer needs proof it already runs somewhere. A power utility needs its bills, outages and complaints in one chat. A filmmaker's clients need to feel the footage. The genre followed.

The pair

One chat, cut for two rooms

Goa Online is the Goa government's services portal, now also a WhatsApp assistant built at Pelocal. Citizens had to learn it; departments and other states had to buy it. Same service, same screens. Only the viewer changed.

Public service explainer

Still from the citizen cut: “Goa Online is on WhatsApp.” in large dark type on pale lavender, beside a phone showing the assistant's welcome message

Goa Online on WhatsApp, for citizens

For people in Goa · 1:00 · 16:9 · Music and interface sounds, no voice

It has to sell the service and teach it, in the same minute.

Government sales pitch

Still from the government cut: “Your citizens are on WhatsApp.” in white on a purple blueprint grid, beside the outline of a phone

For departments and other states · 1:00 · 16:9 · Music, no voice

The same service, told to the people who would have to buy it.

Government cutYour citizens are on WhatsApp. Are your services?
The problem
Citizen cutPeople still queue for certificates, and nobody wants another app.
Government cutBuyers need the system and proof it is live, not another phone demo.
The decision
Citizen cutLine art for the queue, then the real chat, one step at a time.
Government cutRedraw the citizen cut as a blueprint, every department wired into one chat.
The result
Citizen cutThe film doubles as the instructions, and ends on one action: say Hi.

The sales film

A sales meeting, cut to one minute

It opens on where the consumers already are, and closes on “Meet them there.” The full film runs 3:23; this cut keeps its order: the hook, the modules, the proof and the close.

Corporate sales film

Still from the corporate film: “Your consumers are already on WhatsApp.” beside a phone lock screen stacked with notifications from a power company: a bill, an outage, a payment, a resolved complaint

Pelocal for power utilities

For electricity distribution companies · 0:58 cut of 3:23 · 16:9 · With sound

Full film (3:23)
The problem
A utility buys on proof, and a feature list is not proof.
The decision
Walk each module through a phone chat, then let a distributor already running it make the case.
The result
Proof does the selling.

The reel

Cut for a feed, for someone who cuts for a living

Richi Rich is a filmmaker and FPV pilot in Noida, and a motion designer himself, so the reel had to beat him at his own style. The footage is his.

Vertical brand reel

Heads up: fast cuts and white flash frames throughout.

Still from the reel: a performer on a dark concert stage, mic raised, under heavy white caps reading “Front of stage,” with an amber comma

Richi Rich HQ

For his brand and event clients · 0:30 · 9:16 · Silent

A reel for a filmmaker who could have cut it himself.

The problem
Strong footage, a vertical frame, no sound, and brands and event clients to win over.
The decision
Speed ramps, whip pans, and his name tracked in 3D onto his own aerial shot.
The result
It sells him in silence, using only his footage.
